Italian full-grain and vegetable-tanned leather dog and cat collars, handcrafted in Tuscany. Tanning methods — vegetable (bark tannins, 40+ days) or chrome (chromium sulfate, 24 hours) — determine how the collar ages, smells, and wears against your dog's skin. Every collar in this collection specifies its tanning method and tannery origin.

Leather types include Buttero (Conceria Walpier), Swift calfskin (Haas), PAGIN saddle leather, and French Sully lambskin (ALRAN). Widths from 0.8" to 2". Solid brass hardware throughout. Sizes from XS (8.7" neck) to XL. Hand-painted Fenice edges on select models.
